Q7.
Model paragraph: My favourite festival is Diwali, the festival of lights. It is celebrated in October or November every year. My family cleans and decorates the entire house with diyas and rangoli. Model paragraph: Trees are very important for all living beings on Earth. They give us oxygen to breathe and provide shade from the hot sun. Many trees give us delicious fruits, nuts, and medicines. Dear Meera,

How are you? I recently read a wonderful book called “The Diary of a Young Girl” by Anne Frank. It is the true story of a Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis during World War II. Her courage and hope inspired me deeply. The book taught me to be grateful for what we have. I think you would love it too. Do try to read it during the holidays!

Your loving friend,
Kavya
